Bringing forth a reflection and a new understanding of the history of the peoples of China through symbols of culture and living is the aim of this 176 m2 project. To achieve this, the architect considered elements such as balance, spirituality, memory, and delicacy through a sectorized layout consisting of a living area, tea house, bedroom, and bathroom. The biggest draw is the ceiling: the structure of the MDF Duratex Nogueira Bourbon panel references the accentuated volumes of Asian architecture. Furthermore, the professional offers a contemporary interpretation of traditional Chinese panels, known as toushi, assembled with the launch of Duratex You. Wood and jade stone, associated with resilience and protection, complement the materiality.
