Casa Finitura

CASACOR Brasilia
The starting point of architect Deborah Pinheiro's project was to establish a dialogue that valued the original characteristics of the Casa da Manchete, designed by Oscar Niemayer. The appreciation of the existing concrete structure and its blend with new materials redefines a historically significant space for Brasília. The spacious area, 307m2, integrates internal and external areas, bringing the garden indoors. The interaction between internal projects and gardens promotes disconnection from the outside world. The Brasiliense habit of receiving friends and making the house the center of social living was enhanced. Among the materials used are porcelain tiles for water mirrors and flooring, cementitious coatings for floors and walls, and acrylic coatings made with fragments of ornamental stones, as well as eucalyptus broomsticks from reforestation as a shading element in the pergola.
