Craftsman's House Design Master Albertino
CASACOR PiauíCasa do Artesão Design Mestre Albertino, a space in partnership with the Government of the State of Piauí, is a store for the public to have access to one of the state's greatest cultural riches: our crafts. We only use lithofine, produced locally from red ceramic, as a coating on the facade and floor. In the showcase, the design of the holey stone - an archaeological site located in São Raimundo Nonato - highlights our santeira art and the tapestry made from natural cattail fiber. Wood was used as a structure for the roof and display shelves. The side balcony was designed to place the traditional and much-loved hammocks, displayed here in the most diverse regional materials. Each element has been carefully integrated to not only showcase, but celebrate local art, promoting a genuine appreciation of our identity and ancestral heritage.
