Casa de Raiz is an invitation to recover memories of moments spent in family homes during childhood. Mariana Mendonça proposes a home with less excess and more essence, to connect with the past. The stone floor reminds us of old homes and the painted walls that look worn over time remind us of the timelessness of a mother's house. Shoraya Canêdo creates plants that remind us of her grandmother's backyard, such as the jabuticabeira and banana trees, which represent the orchard, and the aromatic herbs, spices and peppers, reminiscent of the family gathered at Sunday lunches. The diversity of colorful flowers and foliage is also present.
