In homage to Aristeu Pires, one of Brazil's greatest furniture designers, Natália Coelho has created a space that references moments in the artist's history and career. Elements that evoke the dry land of the backlands and the greenery, a strong memory of the designer's childhood; the smell and image of sisal hanging to dry on his grandfather's farm: all the elements are chapters in Aristeu's story. From the natural light that predominates in the space to the cork flooring, a reference to the dirt floor of the backlands, Casa Aristeu is a memorial, a unique space for celebration and emotional remembrance.
