House' 73

CASACOR Rio de Janeiro

A certain futuristic touch hovers around Casa 73. Victor Niskier drank from the vibrant fountain of the 1970s, to create, in just 30m², a typical tiny house from the 2020s. Here, the joinery is intelligent: the closet slides; the panel hides the bed; appliances are hidden, leaving the closet with a buffet feel. The furniture, all designed by the architect, uses fabrics such as cotelê and bouclé and prints such as houndstooth. All this with an eye on the 2070s, when the home will have even smarter gadgets and, who knows?, a look at the design of the past.
