Paranamã Path
CASACOR Mato GrossoThe Caminhos Paranã space, which means river paths in Tupi-Guarani, is an artistic installation inspired by Brazilian indigenous cultural identity and the recognition and respect for communities. It features the participation of Denilson Baniwa, an indigenous member of the Baniwa people and curator of the Brazilian Pavilion at the Venice Art Biennale, who will have a video of his projected on the wall, reflecting on aspects of the coronavirus pandemic and the strength that indigenous people have found in nature, especially in the Rio Negro. The space also features pieces by Fernanda Marques and lamps designed by Carol Gay.
