Calm
CASACOR BrasíliaAt the invitation of landscaper Cassio Veiga, the architect used her colleague's expertise in outdoor areas to create the environment called Calmaria, alongside her partner of over 30 years, Alex Rodrigues. The project follows the Japanese Wabi-sabi philosophy. In the 230m² space, ancestral bioconstruction techniques are used, with materials such as eucalyptus biribas, irregular wattle and daub walls, Coral effect texture painting, marble and limestone patchwork flooring. The space has masonry sofas and cushions, a spa, beanbags and hammocks, and a wood-burning stove with ceramic glass that adds a contemporary touch.
