The challenge: to create a conceptual bathroom for CASACOR, a space that would also be used by its visitors. Considering the pandemic scenario, this was no small feat. To solve the problem, Minas Gerais natives Carla Ferreira and Maycon Costa sought out their roots – and technology. With a focus on safety, they presented the Deca line of touchless faucets and toilets as solutions, and natural ventilation and lighting provided by reclaimed wood cobogós. The Minas Gerais accent of the space is already evident, also reinforced by the Pau a Pique (which refers to the old construction technique) and Saint Tropez (reproducing natural stone) coverings. The use of drywall and steel frame in the project shows the concern for sustainability, a topic in which the duo is an expert.
